Mt Hutt Ski Bus is now providing a service to Mt Hutt Ski Area from Christchurch and Rolleston on days that Mt Hutt Ski Area is open.

Schedule – Departs

  • 7 a.m. from the Christchurch Museum, Rolleston Ave, Central Christchurch.
  • 4 p.m. returns from the Mt Hutt

Alternative pick-up points after departure from Christchurch Museum

  • Church Corner (outside Countdown on Riccarton Road, 7:10 a.m.)
  • Hornby Mcdonalds (opposite on SH1) – 20 minutes after departure from Christchurch Museum
  • Rolly Inn, SH1, Rolleston – 35 minutes after departure from Christchurch Museum

Mt Hutt Ski Bus provides daily service to Mt Hutt Ski Area from Methven. The ski buses also provide pick-ups from accommodation around Methven before heading up to Mt Hutt Ski Area.

  • 7:45 a.m. arrives at Mt Hutt approx. 8:30 a.m.
  • 9:45 a.m. arrives at Mt Hutt approx. 10:30 a.m.
