Akaroa
Departing Methven at 8.30am, we stop at Little River for morning tea and a tour and tasting of the Barry Bay Cheese factory before arriving in Akaroa for lunch and a wildlife harbour.
Arrives back in Methven at 6.30pm (leaves Akaroa at 4.30pm).

Christchurch and Lyttelton Harbour
Departing Methven at 9.30am, we travel over the Rakaia Gorge through Hororata to Christchurch to view the available city sights.
Travelling out through Ferrymead, Sumner Beach and over the Port Hills we arrive in Lyttelton Village for lunch. Our return trip to Methven is via Governors Bay and Christchurch City, arriving back in Methven approx 5.00pm.

Salmon World & Rakaia Gorge
Departing Methven at 9.30am, we stop at historic Barrhill church en route to Salmon World, Rakaia to view the Aquarium Experience & 4D Film, followed by lunch at Salmon Tales (at own cost).
After lunch we travel to the Rakaia Gorge via north side of the river, stopping to view the braided river on the way, before arriving at the Gorge for an optional jet boating experience (at own cost). Returning to Methven by 2.45pm.

Lake Coleridge & Terrace Downs
Departing Methven at 9.30am, we travel to Rakaia Gorge for an optional jet boating experience (at own cost). We then travel along the north side of the river, stopping for river views, to Lake Coleridge to view the power station intake and Coleridge Village.
Lunch is available at Terrace Downs (own cost) and then returning to Methven by 2.45pm.
